He finished last season with a 14-12 record and 3.79 earned run average over 32 starts for the Reds.<\/p>\n<p>The veteran right-hander has made at least 30 starts in nine straight seasons, tied for the second-longest active streak in baseball with Dan Haren, and tossed 200 innings or more for the eighth time during that span (199 IP in 2011).<\/p>\n<p>Since 2005, Arroyo ranks among the major league leaders in starts (T-1st, 297), quality starts (3rd, 183), innings pitched (3rd, 1,895 2\/3) and wins (6th, 119).<\/p>\n<p>The Florida native broke into the majors with the Pirates in 2000 and has compiled a 138-127 record, 4.19 ERA and 1,479 strikeouts in 2,278 2\/3 innings over 391 appearances (355 starts) with Pittsburgh, Boston and Cincinnati.
