The historic track closes for good after its Sunday, Dec. 22 program.<\/p>\n<p>Headlining the card will be the $200,000 King Glorious Stakes. The seven- furlong stakes is part of the Golden State Series and is restricted to 2-year- olds bred or sired in California.<\/p>\n<p>The $50,000 starter allowance races will be conducted on the turf at one-mile. The Valley Lass is for fillies and mares and the Auld Lang Syne is for 3-year- olds &amp; up.<\/p>\n<p>Hollywood Park opened on June 10, 1938 and Valley Lass, under jockey Silvio Coucci, became the first horse to win a race at the track.
